LEADERSHIP AND THE BODY

What do our bodies have to do with our leadership? Early this month I had the opportunity to explore this with some amazing leaders and teachers, and my main takeaway is that sustaining purpose-driven leadership requires us to pay attention to our whole selves - including our physical selves.

Reflect:

  • Over the next week pay attention to the "shape" your body is making during different events/situations and how it feels in these shapes.

  • What's the impact this "shape" has on the way you are showing up to participate, contribute, and lead?
