RELATIONSHIPS CHECK-IN
As humans, we are great at making lists, planning meetings, and getting things done. It's easy to forget that everything we do happens in relationship - with ourselves, others, or our world.
Here are two super packed resources on relationships and this week's reflection activity to help you check-in on your professional and personal relationships.

This podcast episode between Esther Perel and Willow Defebaugh that discusses the nature of relationships.
THE PRACTICE
How strong are your work relationships--really?
Here's a simple but powerful exercise for leaders, managers and anyone who wants to lead with more clarity and intention.
Grab a piece of paper and list the names of your direct reports.
Next to each name, rate your relationship on a scale of 1-10:
1 = Weak/Disconnected
10 = Connected/Trusting/Collaborative
Then ask yourself:
When things go poorly...do we recover, repair, and respond skillfully?
When things go well...do we celebrate and acknowledge each other?
When things are moving along...are we communicating clearly--or with tension or avoidance?
Bottom Line:
How well are you able to stay curious, open, and grounded when you're engaging with - or even just thinking about - this person?
Now reflect:
What is the shared purpose of this relationship?
What potential does it hold?
What's getting in the way?
What's needed now to move forward?
This kind of check-in can shift everything - from performance and trust to morale and growth.
Curious: What insights do you gain when you try this? What surprises you?
