GOOD LEADERS - RIGHT NOW
This week I’m sharing three powerful examples of leadership that are inspiring me right now. In a world often overwhelmed by crisis, it’s refreshing to see leaders taking thoughtful, bold, and grounded action
Each of these reminds me that leadership isn’t just about being in charge—it’s about being in service to possibility, connection, and change.
Here are two resources that are fueling my curiosity on this subject right now.
WNBA veteran Tiffany Hayes made a bold move by joining the expansion team, stepping away from a more established role to push herself—and others—into growth. She’s mentoring teammates, recovering from injury with grace, and helping shape the culture of a new franchise from the ground up.
Rather than focusing solely on national advocacy, Global Citizen is now supporting local leaders and changemakers in cities like Detroit. They’re launching initiatives to close the digital divide and bring AI literacy to underserved communities—aiming to reach 10 million learners by 2030.
Companies like Estée Lauder, British Airways, and PwC are investing in reverse-mentoring programs—where younger employees coach senior leaders on topics like tech, DEI, and evolving workplace culture. It’s a shift that’s flattening hierarchies and building more responsive, human-centered organizations.
